Subscriber Checker
Last Updated: September 30th, 2026
Subscriber Checker ("we", "us") runs the subscriberchecker.com website and the Subscriber Checker Discord bot (together, the "Service"). The Service gives members Discord roles when they meet requirements a server sets, such as subscribing to a YouTube channel, following a Twitch channel or pledging on Patreon. We are responsible for the personal information described here, and you can reach us at weird@subscriberchecker.com.
This policy uses the terms defined in our Terms of Service.
When you sign in with Discord: your Discord user ID, username and avatar, and the list of servers you are in. We use the server list to show you the servers that use Subscriber Checker and, if you manage one, to let you configure it. We keep your Discord sign-in tokens so the site can refresh that list.
Linking another platform, such as YouTube, Twitch or Patreon, is optional and happens only when you choose it. For each linked account we store its ID and display name, the access and refresh tokens the platform gives us, and the permissions you granted. Tokens are encrypted before they are stored. The platform shows you exactly what access we are asking for before you agree.
We use that access only to check the requirements of the servers you are in: whether you subscribe to, follow or support the channels and creators a server requires, the tier or amount of that support where a requirement depends on it, and your own channel's audience size if a server asks for one. Creators setting up a server can also use it to look up their own channel or campaign. We don't read your messages, watch history, comments or payment details on those platforms.
A check runs when you ask for one on the website or with the bot, when you join a server that checks new members, or when a server re-checks the members holding its roles. We record the server, the requirement, the outcome (met, not met, or couldn't check), a short reason and the time. The reason never includes an exact count or amount. For requirements based on Discord itself, we read what Discord shows the bot about you in that server, such as your roles, when you joined, whether you boost it, and your account's creation date.
We also keep records of what the Service did for you or tried to do, so we can explain it later: for example a note when a role was removed, or the error a platform gave us when linking an account failed.
A server's settings and requirements, the reports and records its features produce (such as audit reports, which list the members whose roles were removed), and which admin made changes or ran audits. Payments for Premium are handled by our payment processor or by Discord. We never see or store card details, only the identifiers we need to connect a subscription to its server.
Support requests, messages and feedback you send us, whether on the website, by email or in our support server, along with any diagnostic details attached to them. Diagnostics are a snapshot of the account and server information described above at the moment you asked for help, so our support team can see what you saw.
We count page views with analytics that don't use cookies or identify you across sites. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs, including your IP address and browser details, which we use only for security and to fix problems.
We don't sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles of you.
The Service uses YouTube API Services. By linking a YouTube account you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
With your permission we get read-only access to your YouTube account. We use it to see whether you subscribe to the channels a server requires, and your own channel's subscriber count if a server has a subscriber-count requirement. We don't read anything else, and we never change anything on your account.
Subscriber Checker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use YouTube data only to check the requirements of the servers you are in. We don't sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
We only use cookies the site needs to work, so there is nothing to opt into:
The site also keeps a few preferences in your browser's own storage, such as whether you have dismissed a guide. That information never leaves your browser. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
You have the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. We rely on these legal bases: providing the Service you asked for (running checks and assigning roles), your consent (linking a platform, which you can withdraw by unlinking), and our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, support, improving the Service and usage statistics). You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
Your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information is transferred there.
Tokens and other secrets are encrypted at rest, all traffic uses HTTPS, and access to the database is limited to the people who run the Service. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee that your information will never be accessed without permission. If it is, we will tell affected users when the law requires it, or when it could affect their linked accounts.
The Service is not for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age to use Discord in your country. We don't knowingly collect information from children under that age. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will delete their data.
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. We announce material changes on our updates page before they take effect, except changes needed for legal or security reasons, which may take effect immediately.
Questions about this policy or your data: email weird@subscriberchecker.com or ask in our support server.
